This research developed an updated process for DOTs to incorporate climate change and extreme weather into TAMPs.  In particular, this effort built on the guidance found in Integrating Extreme Weather Risk into Transportation Asset Management (AASHTO November 2012) by incorporating other climate change considerations, such as sea level rise, into the TAMP process.  The research will incorporate recommendations from the forthcoming FHWA adaptation pilots and rulemaking on risk-based TAMPs in response to Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21).
