This project reviewed the practices for maintenance and operations contacting and delivery of snow and ice control services. Based on this review and associated evaluation, the project developed a decision framework to help transportation agencies identify the preferred method for delivering winter highway maintenance and operations. The report on this project has been provided to AASHTO staff, is now available on the AASHTO Highway Subcommittee on Maintenance website, and has been summarized in NCHRP Research Results Digest 387.
