The objectives of this research were to (1) update the LTPP data files used in the national calibration of the MEPDG rigid pavement models to correct for previous errors in the measurement of coefficients of thermal expansion, (2) recalibrate the MEPDG with the updated data files, and (3) validate the output of the recalibrated MEPDG for analysis and design of rigid pavements.
The project final report has been provided to the AASHTO Joint Technical Committee on Pavements.
