New tools are being developed to assist state and local agencies in reducing crashes on the nation’s roadways. There is a need to identify the available training materials, identify gaps in the training and develop a “roadmap” or sequence of courses that safety practitioners should take to become proficient in applying these new tools. The project has been completed. Copies of the final report were sent to the AASHTO Standing Committee on Highway Traffic Safety. (NCHRP Staff: C. W. Niessner)
