The project is complete.  A 2-day workshop was held in early June 2009.  Participants included the AASHTO Highway Subcommittee on Maintenance (SCOM) leadership team and representatives from FHWA, AASHTO, and TRB.  Workshop participants reevaluated the Subcommittee’s organizational structure, mission, and vision and recommended changes.  Workshop recommendation were presented at the Subcommittee's annual meeting in late July 2009.  Based on the membership feedback, an updated organizational structure, vision, and mission will be presented to the AASHTO Standing Committee on Highway in late October 2009 for consideration and approval.  (NCHRP staff: A.
