This project reassessed and updated the AASHTO Highway Subcommittee on Systems Operation and Management (SSOM) strategic plan and taskforce action plans based on new priorities for departments’ operations and management. A workshop was held on May 4, 2008 in Branson, Missouri to discuss the themes of the plan. The draft plan was extensively discussed at the August 2008 meeting of the AASHTO SSOM subcommittee. The final plan submitted for the use of the AASHTO SSOM Subcommittee on November 28, 2008.
