This task will update the ASSHTO Guide for Snow and Ice Control (published in 1999).  The work focused on updating the chapters dealing with equipment, snow and ice control materials, and weather information systems.  The research has been competed; the final report has been received and provided to AASHTO staff to make it available to the chair and members of the AASHTO Highway Subcommittees on Maintenance, and take the next steps toward incorporating these updates in the next edition of the AASHTO Guide for Snow and Ice Control.  (NCHRP staff: A.
