The projet is complete.  In addition to a review of current practices relevant to the testing and evaluation of concrete sealers, the research included an analysis of the findings of a survey of state departments of transportation and international organizations, and an evaluation of available test methods.  The report includes the research team's recommendations for (1) a test method and selection criteria for prequalification of sealers used for protecting concrete highway structures and (2) guidelines for quality assurance, job site quality control, and application of protective sealers for portland cement concrete.  The report has been provided to AASHTO staff to make it available to the chair and members of the AASHTO Highway Subcommittees concerned with concrete surface sealers; a link to the contractor's final report is provided below.  (NCHRP Staff:  A.N.
