Task 147, FY 2002, "Update of the Design Guidelines for the Control of Blowing and Drifting Snow" (Dr. Ronald D. Tabler). This study updated the 1994 publication "Design Guidelines for the Control of Blowing and Drifting Snow." This update will provide enhanced information for the design of effective and economical measures for controlling snowdrifts and reducing the concentration of snow in the air. The project required a substantially larger effort than initially anticipated. The project is complete. The final report was prepared on a CD-ROM and will be furnished to SICOP for posting on the SICOP website. (NCHRP Staff: A.N. Hanna)
