Task 143, FY 2001, "Synthesis of Practice: AASHTO's National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP)", (TransTech Management, Inc., Joe Crossett). Funds were allocated for an independent, detailed investigation to determine (a) how NTPEP data are being used, (b) how barriers to implementation are affecting state highway agencies, and (c) how NTPEP has affected the economic models used in the transportation supplier marketplace. This study included a detailed survey of state DOTs. The final report has been sent to AASHTO. (NCHRP Staff: C.W. Niessner)
