Task 140, FY 2001, "TEA 21 Stewardship Report", (Cambridge Systematics, Inc., Lance A. Neumann). This project investigated the extent TEA-21 funds have enabled the states, in conjunction with their own funds, to reduce their backlog of critical transportation needs. The funds ($50,000) allocated by SCOH were matched by APTA through TCRP Project J-6/Task 36, "Quick Response for Special Needs" to finance the effort. The task is complete and the results have been incorporated into a joint AASHTO and APTA publication entitled, The Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century in Action: Money at Work.
