Task 116, FY 2000, "User's Guide for Evaluating Sign Retroreflectivity" (BMI, Hugh McGee). The AASHTO Task Force on Retroreflectivity (see Task 111) developed some alternative language for specifying the minimum retroreflectivity of signs in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Task 116 reviewed the alternative language and provided recommendations to the Task Force. It also produced recommended changes to the FHWA's draft "Nighttime Visual Inspection Guide for Traffic Sign Retroreflectivity." The report has been sent to AASHTO for their further use.
