OBJECTIVES
 
The objectives of this research were to (1) determine the key properties of foamed asphalt binders that significantly influence the performance of asphalt mixtures and (2) develop laboratory protocols for foaming of asphalt binders and laboratory mixing procedures.

The project final report is available as NCHRP Report 807

A three-part compilation of the critical reviews of the literature on warm mix asphalt technologies conducted in NCHRP Projects 9-47, 9-47A, 9-49, 9-49A, and 9-53 is available here:
