This study identified practices in environmental stewardship in construction and maintenance. It was administered as NCHRP Project 25-25 Task 4. The resulting compendium has been forwarded to AASHTO and distributed through their Center of Environmental Excellence. The TRB Task Force on Accelerating Innovation is planning a workshop to promote the compendium and encourage adoption of the practices it identifes. (NCHRP Staff: C. J. Hedges)
