Task 130, FY 2000, "Development of a Detailed Test Procedure by FTIR Identification for Structural Steel Coatings". This study was to contract with private labs to collaboratively author test procedures for inclusion in AASHTO Designation PP30, "Standard Recommended Practices for Evaluation of Coating Systems with Zinc Rich Primers." In the time since this study was funded, a similar project was conducted by another organization. The similar project effectively accomplished the proposed research objectives.
