BACKGROUND

Microgrid technology adoption continues to grow, and airports could see benefits from its implementation. The products developed under ACRP Project 10-26 and published as ACRP Research Report 228: Airport Microgrid Implementation Toolkit help airports of all sizes assess this technology and address site-specific criteria. The online tool developed under this project is a key product, and its migration to a TRB-hosted ACRP WebResource is necessary to ensure it remains available to the U.S. airport industry.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this research is to migrate the online toolkit included in ACRP Research Report 228: Airport Microgrid Implementation Toolkit into an ACRP WebResource. As part of the migration, ensure that all features and functions are maintained, including inputs from and queries to third-party websites and databases, any default levels or sample data is still relevant, and the user guide is updated. The guide and associated materials from ACRP Research Report 228 should be referenced and linked from the WebResource as well. The final WebResource should meet all current data security standards or best practices.
