The AASHTO Standing Committee on Planning jcreated its first strategic plan in 2008 to guide the Committee's acitivities and research.  The 2008 plan has been updated to reflect anticipated changes in federal funding programs, an increased emphasis on performance measures and outcomes, challenges presented by global climate change, and to ensure alignment with AASHTO's strategic plan, the 2008 startegic plan.
