The objectives of Project 1-40D(01) were to (1) work in coordination with the contractor for Project 1-40D(02) to produce improved, corrected versions 0.9 and 1.0 of the M-E Pavement Design Guide software and (2) provide ongoing troubleshooting support of the MEPDG for NCHRP and FHWA.
A project interim report is available as NCHRP Research Results Digest 308: Changes to the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide Software Through Version 0.900, July 2006.
The latest version of the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide is available from AASHTOWare as the Pavement ME Design program.
The United States climatic files developed for the MEPDG are available for download here.
