This research project proposes to develop an effective and reliable nondestructive evaluation method to determine the internal grout condition inside bridge ducts using scanning stress wave techniques. The stress wave techniques of interest include impact echo and spectral analysis tests. The scanning ability will provide economical data collection and processing to give three dimensional results for an easier and more comprehensive way of interpreting NDT&E results.
