NCHRP Project 8-36, Task 6, has supported the Transportation Model Improvement Program (TMIP), especially in areas of direct interest to state Departments of Transportation. The focus of this support has been in the areas of new methods development in transportation planning and review of the development and testing of new planning models including TRANSIM development. The purpose of this task is to continue that support through the completion of TRANSIM testing in Portland, Oregon.
