The purpose of this project was to prepare a technical specification for a 30-foot transit bus using the industry consensus approach similar to that used in TCRP Project C-12. An industry Task Force of knowledgeable individuals was formed to develop the specifications. The Task Force was made up of representatives from both the supply and user communities. As in the C-12 project, the bus manufacturers currently involved in this portion of the business were invited to participate.

Status: A final specification has been prepared for a 30-foot, low-floor, diesel transit bus. It is available through the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and has been posted on the APTA website.
