Task 134, FY 2001, "Asset Management Education and Communications Materials", (Cambridge Systematics, Inc., Michael J. Markow). This study has developed materials to disseminate Asset Management principles to State DOTs. Because of the interrelationship, the funds were transferred to NCHRP Project 20-24(11), "Asset Management Guidance for Transportation Agencies," to ensure proper coordination between the 2 efforts. Material for presentation at the 2000 AASHTO Annual Meeting was developed and presented The final item was a brochure briefly describing the concepts of asset management along with an agency self assessment process. The brochure was distributed at the 2002 AASHTO Annual Meeting and is presently available as an attachment to the write-up for NCHRP Project 20-24(11) on the NCHRP website. (NCHRP Staff: C.F. Jencks)
