Task 118, FY 2000, "A Supplemental Guideline for Highway Design to Accommodate Older Drivers and Pedestrians" (Midwest Research Institute, Ingrid Anderson Potts). This study reviewed the DOT/FHWA publication "Older Driver Highway Design Handbook" and other relevant information and developed recommended guidelines for highway design in order to meet the needs of older drivers and pedestrians. The final report was forwarded to the AASHTO Highway Subcommittee on Design. (NCHRP Staff: C.W. Niessner)
